Joanna did initial copy-editing of a 600-plus page law textbook, with copious footnotes and a need to adhere strictly to citation standards, as well as to develop its own house style. Her work was absolutely invaluable, in particular in suggesting improvements in the text towards greater clarity and simplicity.
